Seeing Ace come at her after grabbing his swords, kayko flipped her sword and took stance. However she was surprised as Ace created steam and smoke to suround her. She had just gotten her bearings and figured to get rid of the smoke and steam quickly so there could be no sneak attacks from Ace, but she was cut off by the worst sound in the worst. Ace's sword, banshi. Her short sword fell to the ground and she fell to her knees and covered her ears with her hands.
it...hurts...
Moments of this, and nothing was being done.
it also, was extremely annoying.
Kayko closed her eyes, took a deep breat, trying not to choke in the process, and relaxed...quieting her mind. Suddenly there was a pulsing, and it wasn't the wind, it was the very air itself, and it pulsated away from kayko, as if she was the source herself.

Suddenly, Ace sheathed banshi and the noise stopped, he ran over to Kayko and knelt down beside her. "Oh god, i took it to far didn't I? I am so sorry." HE said to her very sadly. He hadn't relised how powerful Banshi really was until a while ago and yet he still used it. Why? His fist clenched the blade. He got up, tears flooding his eyes. "Why?" He whispered to himself, "Why do i use you!" He yelled out as he threw the sheathed blade to the ground. "Your a dangerious blade, why am i so stupid to use something that I can't control!" He cried out. He then knelt down on the ground and tried to gather himself. "I forfeit." He said to Kayko without looking at her. Tears still flooding his face.

Kayko's hands came away from her ears as soon as the nose stopped. Yet there was a loud ringing in her ears still.
"Oh god, i took it to far didn't I? I am so sorry."
She was going to reply but ace went on, apparently angery at himself for using Banshi.
Kayko pushed herself into a sitting position and let him talk and he even threw the blade away and forfeited. There was a moment of silnce as Kayko took in the sight of Ace sitting there with tears streaming down his face and eyes adverted. Then kayko touched Ace's shoulder, paused again and then stoof up, walking towards banshi. "As a gerneal rule of thumb, all blades are dangerous" she said quietly as she knelt down to pick up the sword. She carried it back to him. "and even if it is more dangerous, I'd rather you keep it. That's keep it, and not use it unless you really have to. Because, I'm not sure what would happen if someone else found it.." she held it out to him. She knew it was a good point, and she awaited his answer.

Ace sighed and wiped away the tears. He gently took the blade from her and returned it to his belt, "I am sorry. I don't know why I used it. I guess I just got to into the fight seeing as I was a bandit. Though now, I question weather it is a was or an is." He said with a sigh. "Sorry, are you ok?" He asked her as he looked up at her for the first time after the fight had ended. He wasn't sure if he wanted to face her now that he had hurt her, and it wasn't anything minor like a cut on the arm. What he had done could have just as easilly killed her.

Kayko could have smiled as Ace wiped away his tears and took the blade from her. then she sighed, "you really should stop talking like that. You are who you are..you'll only frustrate yourself for blaming your past of being a bandit like that." when he asked she gently nodded, "I've got a tremendous head and a ringing in the ears but I think I'll be fine" she assured him. Even now she was trying to push away the pain of the headache and ignore the ringing, whihc was making the ehadache worst and harder to push back, but she didn't seem to show her pain. She's been in worst, learning swordsmanship from an expert assassin will do that to you.

Ace smiled, "OK sorry." He said as he looked down again. "Is there anything I can do to help your headache? Since I am the one who caused it." He asked her kindly, he wanted to do anything that would help her. He felt really bad because of what he had done.

kayko smiled a little at his concern, "I don't tink so ace..but thanks." she said as she wlked over to her unfinished plate and began eating her food again. She wondered what would happen if ace hadden't used banshi. Then she wondered if they would ever duel again.

Ace sighed, he was still a little down becuase he had hurt kayko, and he really wanted to make up for it. But it seemed that Kayko wasn't about to let him so he went back to the spot he had been sitting in before and sat there stairing at the fire. He too wondered what would have happened had he not used Banshi, he wondered who would have won the duel and he wondered if he would be up for another duel. He sigehd.

Kayko was about to take a bite when ace sighed , and she noticed that he was staring into the fire. In thought she chewed her cheek a bit before with the slightest movement she made a tiny but sort of strong wind blow directly into the middle of the flame itself and caused to flicker, making it look almost like it danced.

Ace looked at the flames. "Their dancing." He said to himself, he laughed a little, "What an odd thing for a fire to do." He said with a smile on his face and he turned to Kayko. "I truly am sorry." HE said to her kindly. "You sure there isn't anything you would like me to get you?" He asked her kindly again.

Kayko couldn't help but smile a little, knowing that she did her job right. She was even amused as Ace asked her if he could do anything for her again. There was a paused, she concentrated with out showing effort, she felt the headache slip away oh so slowly, like the sand in an hourglass. "Thanks Ace, but there's really nothing you can do. It'll go away eventually"

Ace nodded, "Alright then. What do you want to do now?" He asked her kindly. He was at a lose for ideas as to what to do and he looked up towards the sky. He laid back onto his back and stared at the sky. "Such a buetiful night." He whispered to himself.

At the mention of the night, kayko looked up and then her gaze traveled around them.. "it got dark pretty quickly.." she said quietly. Usually it seemed like it took forever for night to come, she always had so much time to do whatever she needed to do each and everyday.
kayko began to think about the old lady they had visited earlier, and she smiled. Tomorrow was going to be an interesting day...
"i don't really know..." she finally answered ace's question.
